A Tribute to My Father:From Mary Ulrich Dad, you have provided me with so much in life but asked for so little in return. You guided me, but let me go my own way. You taught me what it meant to be strong,especially in dealing with disappointments and difficult times and you gave me the courage to live with any weakness I may have. You taught me the meaning of courage and to be brave enough to do what I believe is right. You shared with me the value of knowledge which has enabled me to be prepared to make tough decisions. I also learned from you the value of learning from the mistakes that everyone is capable of making. You led the way for me when I felt I was alone in the world, your voice of reason was my source of peace. As I think of you, Dad, I cannot help but be aware of the support and encouragement that you made so evident to me throughout my entire life. Your kind heart, and simplicity and especially the many talks we've shared together helped me to understand that we had many of the same dreams and doubts about the life we were allowed to share. The absolute most important and mesaningful thing that you taught me through your examples would be that of your love by setting examples with your gentle heart, openess and down to earth personality. You have enriched my life forever with your lessons and your acts of love and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am a very proud daughter to have a Dad as special and fine as you. You fought the good fight and you will live forever in my heart. I love you Dad, until we meet again. Mary
